Was Kamala Harris twerking for votes at 50th Hip-hop anniversary party?
Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a star-studded house party on September 9, 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip hop. The event was held at her official residence in Washington, D.C. and featured performances by legends like Common, Jeezy, MC Lyte, Roxanne Shante, and more.
The party was the first of its kind to be hosted by a sitting Vice President and was attended by over 400 guests, including musicians, artists, industry leaders, and cultural trailblazers.

Black Political Opinion: Was Kamala Harris twerking for votes at 50th Hip hop party?
Whether or not Kamala Harris dancing at the 50th anniversary of hip hop was seen as pandering is a matter of opinion.
Some saw it as a genuine expression of her enjoyment of the music and the culture, while others saw it as an attempt to appeal to young voters or to Black voters in particular.
Kamala Harris made history in 2020 when she became the first female, first Black, and first Asian American vice president of the United States.
That’s it and that’s all folks.
Some view most of what she has done in her role as Vice President as performative or pandering when it comes to the Black community.
What has she accomplished?
Kamala Harris accused of pandering when she talked about Collard Greens in South Carolina
According to recent polls, Kamala Harris is the most unpopular vice president in recent history and the Biden/Harris administration is losing support from Black men.
