Opinion: Jasmine Crockett “I Never Said It Was THAT Epstein” -The Most Pathetic Defense of 2025
Congress has a new dress code: Full Clown.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) has elevated the art of the half-truth to something resembling performance art. On the House floor just days ago, Crockett unleashed a litany of Republican names—Lee Zeldin, Meghan McCain, the National Republican Senatorial Committee—accusing them of pocketing campaign cash from none other than “a Jeffrey Epstein.”
Ghetto Democrat IMPLODES LIVE ON AIR As CNN Host CONFRONTS HER With PROOF OF GOP Epstein LIES
The implication? These GOP members were cozying up to the late sex-trafficking financier whose island playground became synonymous with elite depravity. It was a gotcha moment designed to sting, a rhetorical Molotov cocktail lobbed at Republicans amid the ongoing Epstein files frenzy. But here’s the punchline Crockett didn’t see coming: There are apparently multiple Jeffrey Epstein’s in America, and the one she spotlighted isn’t the monster who hobnobbed with presidents and princes. No, this Jeffrey Epstein is a benign New York doctor.
Zeldin himself confirmed receiving donations from this unrelated namesake back in 2022, but Crockett’s floor speech conveniently omitted the distinction, letting the smear simmer in the public imagination. When pressed on CNN by Kaitlan Collins, Crockett’s defense was a masterclass in deflection: “I never said it was THAT Jeffrey Epstein,” she insisted, as if the indefinite article “a” absolves her of intent.
“Unlike Republicans, I at least don’t go out and just tell lies,” she added, with the straight face of someone who’s just been caught red-handed.
Crockett, a civil rights attorney turned congresswoman, knows better. She parsed words for a living before ascending to the Hill, yet here she is, playing the “stupid card” to dodge accountability.
Zeldin and McCain didn’t mince words in their rebuke, calling it out as the “lie” it was—a desperate pivot from Democrats’ own Epstein entanglements, from Bill Clinton’s 26 flights on the Lolita Express to the redactions in the very files Crockett now feigns outrage over.
Victims of Epstein’s horrors deserve better than being reduced to partisan props.
