Opinion: How can someone in a state of perpetual forgetfulness lead a country-should Biden resign?
[U.S Politics] The special counsel's report on President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents has raised serious questions about his memory and its potential impact on his ability to govern effectively.
The special counsel Robert Hur, described Biden as "an elderly man with a poor memory," which played a role in the decision not to recommend charges. This description, while potentially beneficial for Biden’s legal outcome, may have a negative impact on his 2024 campaign. The report highlights Biden's inability to recall certain events, such as when he was vice president or when his son Beau passed away.
The president responded to the language in the report referencing his memory, saying his "memory is fine". A portion of his response is shared in a video clip posted to X.
The presidents age, memory and cognitive ability is becoming a huge liability for the Democrats.
This week Joe Biden forgot the name of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and refers to it as “the opposition.”
This past Sunday, Biden told a Las Vegas crowd he met with François Mitterrand, a French president who has been deceased for 28 years.
He followed that up Wednesday referencing a second dead European leader. Helmut Kohl. Biden said he spoke to Kohl in a 2021 conversation seemingly referencing the January 6th situation at the capitol- however in 2021, Kohl had been dead for 4 years already.
President Biden recently claimed to take a photo at an event with Rep. Deborah Ross, who was not present.
Where's Jackie?' In September of last year Biden called out for Jackie Walorski seeming to forget that she had passed away.
