Opinion: J.B Pritzker Spends Illinois' $160M Surplus on Illegals Instead of Taxpaying Citizens
All Over The Nation States Spend Surplus And Reserves On Illegals And Not Taxpayers
“They’re giving to people they allowed to be here illegally in this crisis that they engineered.” Black Americans in Chicago, and across the nation, are waking up to the three-card-monty con game of this migrant “crisis.” We demand a full independent audit of how our tax money is being spent,” said a concerned citizen and mother.
The black Chicago mother continued, “Black Americans have the highest rate of homelessness including youth. But the money from our education system, money supposed to be spent for Chicago’s public schools is being spent on illegals while our high school students have to travel far to go to school. My daughter travels 15 miles outside of our neighborhood to go to school. How dare the city of Chicago and all of its government agencies try to make her walk past this building with illegals living in it! We’re mad at our government for putting them against us!”
Online comments from Freedmen across the nation showed steadfast support. One person said this was how Descendants of US Chattel Slaves should have pushed back when illegal immigrants took over Los Angeles 40 years ago.
Then on Thursday, November 16, 2023, Illinois Governor Jay Robert "J.B." Pritzker announced funding for Chicago's immigrant crisis. The Jewish, Democrat governor who unseated Republican incumbent Bruce Rauner, said the state of Illinois would use $160 million in surplus funding from the Illinois Department of Human Services to help Chicago provide shelter and services to illegals over taxpaying citizens.
Pritzker’s announcement came one day after the Chicago City Council passed Mayor Johnson's budget plan for 2024, which includes $150 million for migrants, enough to cover only a few months of the estimated costs for 2024.
Pritzker said the state of Illinois has been working with the city from the beginning and even though the state has spent more money to assist migrants than the city Pritzker still plans to get more aggressive in its effort to provide shelter for illegals.
Meanwhile, illegals & immigrants have their own line item on page 72 of the City’s 2024 Budget while the Descendants of Slavery are mentioned once or twice with $150,000 earmarked for cultural affairs (pages 595 and 628).
The so-called “abandoned” school where the Chicago plans to house the illegals was not abandoned it was defunded. Somewhere between the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago funding was intentionally withheld for paying for education and jobs in black communities with Black Americans, American Freedmen, African Americans, and black immigrants. A smart person would ask why would a state withhold funding from a school.
Let’s address the elephant in the room…
Why does Illinois have a $160 million dollar surplus?
